Dear ************:
We are very sorry to inform you AOL® Enhanced Services (“AOL ES”) has decided to discontinue offering the TotalTalk™ service. For this reason, your TotalTalk service will be terminated on or about November 30, 2006.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
- All features connected with your TotalTalk service, including E911 calling and your Dashboard features, will no longer work after November 30, 2006.
- You may cancel your service on any date prior to November 30, 2006. AOL ES will waive any applicable cancellation fee.
- Your subscriptions to other AOL® services will not be impacted.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW:
- If you wish to transfer your TotalTalk telephone number to a new telephone service provider (sometimes called Local Number Portability or LNP), the transfer must be completed before your TotalTalk service is terminated. Because it often takes several weeks to complete a telephone number transfer, you should contact a new telephone service provider immediately and let them know that you would like to transfer/port your current telephone number to their service. AOL ES cannot port the telephone number for you; your new carrier must do it. Once the transfer of your TotalTalk number to another carrier is complete, your TotalTalk service will automatically be cancelled and you will be billed for any unpaid charges incurred through that date.
- Take steps to retain important telephone numbers and call information currently stored on your Dashboard. On November 30, 2006, your Dashboard will no longer be accessible.
- The TotalTalk equipment is yours to keep and does not need to be returned.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Member Services at 877 265-7732
We regret any inconvenience this may cause you. We hope that you have enjoyed using the TotalTalk service and that you will continue to enjoy AOL’s other great tools and features.
